The first series for 2008: OzLeisure year of the podcast is launched

So what's it all about then? Well, the OzLeisure Traveller is our first venture into helping Aussies with their travel overseas. To date, OzLeisure.com.au has focused on holidaying in Australia, but now we are spreading our wings to encompass the entire globe as best we can, and bringing it directly to you, onto your portable media player. This series leverages the very best source of information for travellers; the tourism boards of countries around the world. Released every week or fortnight, we talk to those "in the know" with regards to travel overseas.

Starting in the UK, we have already conducted interviews with representatives from the South East of the country, Jersey in the Channel Islands and Wales. Each of these episodes is between 15 and 30 minutes in length and are jam-packed with information about the area and things that you can see and do when you visit. There are plenty more tourism boards lined up in the UK for the coming episodes, but we are by no means focusing purely on the UK - it was just our start point. We have episodes in the works for Ireland and the USA which are shaping up to be awesome and again, all stuffed full of useful information.

Seeing as there is so much information given out in each epiosode, they all come with a "show notes" document which details everything that was mentioned by the tourism board along with all of the necessary weblinks so you don't have to go hunting around the web to find what was talked about.

Whether you are trying to think of a place to go, or are setting off shortly and looking for ideas, you can't go wrong with the OzLeisure Traveller series. An absolute must for in-flight listening to get all of the ideas that you could possibly want for a fun-filled holiday.
