Sacred Mountain Retreat is a secret paradise located half way between Sydney & Brisbane on the North Coast, N.S.W. approximately 4 hours south of Byron Bay.
Luxurious & secluded cottages elevated 200 meters on the eastern ridge of Sacred Mountain, overlook spectacular scenery in a 270o panorama.
A vast expanse of ocean, coastal towns, mountains, rivers and rolling valleys can all be viewed from the large private decks of the self contained cottages, minutes to miles of beautiful beaches.
Architecturally designed cottages of stone & glass are tastefully fitted with exotic fabrics & hand made furnishings. Spectacular views are guaranteed from every window in every direction.
Watch whales on their migration from your breakfast table.
Guests enjoy fresh garden produce for self catering and seasonal tropical fruits grown here organically at Sacred Mountain Retreat. Lavish breakfasts are served daily.
TV, CD Player & DVD Player are provided as well as a selection of DVD movies.

Getting there by car

Traveling South
Traveling along the Pacific Hwy, you will cross the Kalang River at URUNGA (Visitor Information Centre on right). From this point you are exactly 10 km to BURKES LANE, VALLA.
As you enter VALLA there is a large sign that reads “ NAMBUCCA VALLEY / UNPACK YOUR BAGS “
BURKES LANE is directly opposite this sign on your right.
Follow Burkes Lane to the gates of “SACRED MOUNTAIN RETREAT”
Traveling North
Traveling along the Pacific Hwy, you will pass through NAMBUCCA HEADS (KFC on left at Plaza). Continue 7 kms to Burkes Lane, VALLA. (On Left, 800 meters past the Valla Beach Rd turn off ).
Follow BURKES LANE to the gates of SACRED MOUNTAIN RETREAT.

Binoculars are handy, a camera is a must, don't forget your swimmers & surfboard, the ocean temperature is around 20C right through winter.
