Introduction
As you would have seen from looking around the website, OzLeisure.com.au is a site that aims to provide visitors with possible activities for their holiday and leisure time. We do this by listing activities on the site, so that they can advertise their services to OzLeisure visitors.
With so many leisure activities across the country, we need reps in all areas/states to get our message out to them.
The Job
This is an open-ended contract position. At OzLeisure, we appreciate that you may have family and/or other commitments. Therefore, there are no rigid working hours ... you work the hours to suit your situation. All we ask is that you work at least 15 hours per week.
As a sales representative for OzLeisure, you will be reporting to the sales manager, and you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Sourcing companies in your local area to contact
- Record your contacts
- Sending information as required
- Arranging appointments with those companies to demonstrate our services (if required)
- Making the sale of the listing
- Assisting the new activity to place thier listing if required
Personality and skills requirements
We are looking for people with the following personality attributes
- Excellent telephone manner
- Great with people
- Excellent communication skills
- Outgoing, friendly, dynamic personallity
- "Can do" attitude
- An interest in the travel/leisure or media/advertising/marketing areas would be a huge plus
Mandatory skills required
- At least 12 months sales experience.
- The ability to work unsupervised and report back on a regular basis (weekly).
- Experience using Microsoft Office (especially, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to configure an e-mail account as you will be given an OzLeisure one
Other requirements
- Your own ABN (or be willing to get one) - you will be working in a self-employed capacity and responsible for your own tax and superannuation etc
- A computer with broadband internet connection (can be at home or a laptop)
- Your own transport
- A mobile phone for potential customers to contact you
What you get
This is a commission-only position - you will be paid an excellent commission rate on ALL sales that you make, as follows:
- Listing activities on the site
- Yearly renewals (if you are still working for OzLeisure at that time)
- Banner adverts
- Podcast inclusions
- Newsletter adverts
There are other benefits available which become payable once you meet your easily-reachable monthly sales target.
Besides the commission and benefits, you will receive:

- Technical support, 7 days a week
