The Steps Wilderness Retreat is situated on the beautiful Barrington River a short drive to the Barrington Tops world heritage listed mountain wilderness.

Designed to cater for a large range of tastes, the Steps offers accommodation from 4 star self contained comfort, through to riverside camping (with hot & cold showers and flush toilets).

The property is bounded by the Barrington River on 3 sides, offering fantastic swimming, kayaking, skin diving and fishing. Being a promontory on the river, the Steps is an Australian wildlife refuge. Wake to the sounds of king parrots or the splashing of platypus, under the watchful gaze of grazing kangaroos.
