ECOTREK is an ecotourism accredited nature-based tour operator. We offer walking, cycling, canoeing, cultural, educational, heritage and art based tours throughout southeastern Australia. Our mission is to enable people to experience a unique interaction with nature while leaving little to no impact on the environment. At all times we adhere to minimal impact practices and strive to educate people about sustainable activities in natural areas while providing quality interpretation.

ECOTREK was established in 1982 conducting walking weekends and holidays along the Heysen Trail. Since its inception ECOTREK has endeavoured to provide the best possible holidays through consultation with clients, local community, governing bodies and industry leaders.

On our site you'll find listings, photos and descriptions of various tours we offer. You can browse these tours by types, or use the search feature to find a specific destination or tour.

We have scheduled tour departures and can also arrange special itineraries for groups.

In 1996 we merged with Bogong Jack Adventures, a specialist outdoor tour operator focusing on the magnificent Victorian High Country.
